How to get to Korean Town
- BTS Asok — take Exit 2 (Soi 12 side) and walk toward Nana for 3–5 minutes. Sukhumvit Plaza is at the corner of Soi 12; you'll see Korean signs covering the whole building.
- MRT Sukhumvit — take the link to BTS Asok, then the same walk (5–7 minutes in total).
- BTS Nana — Exit 2, then walk back toward Asok for about 5 minutes.
- Taxi / Grab — say "Sukhumvit Plaza Soi 12" or "Korean Town Asok". Drivers know it.
Parking
The building has a basement car park with the entrance on the Soi 12 side. Diners report about ฿30 for the first 2 hours, then ฿20 per hour. Many restaurants stamp your ticket (Arirang: 2 hours free). It fills up on Friday and Saturday nights. Overflow lots are about 200 m into Soi 12, or take the train.
Opening hours of the area
The building itself never really closes. Most restaurants open around 11:00 and close between 21:00 and 23:00. A late-night group stays open until 2–5 am (see the table below). The 3rd-floor karaoke rooms and bar run from evening until about 4 am. The Korean grocery is open roughly 09:00–21:00.

Korean Town is Sukhumvit Plaza, 212 Sukhumvit Road at the mouth of Soi 12, Khlong Toei. The easiest way is BTS Asok: take Exit 2 and walk toward Nana for about 300 m (3–5 minutes). Which places open late, and until what time?
Most restaurants close between 21:00 and 23:00. Late-night options: Hwa Shin until 05:00, Hangang and Hobak until 04:00, Choongman Chicken until 03:00, Darak until 02:00, Yeon Jung and LEEGA until midnight, Jang Won until 23:30, Hanjan and Myeong Dong until 23:00. The karaoke rooms and bar on the 3rd floor run until about 04:00. Hours change, so call ahead after midnight.

How much should I budget per person?
BBQ buffets are ฿300–360 net per person (Viking, Kwang Han Roo, Ilmijung, Darak). À-la-carte BBQ runs ฿400–600 per person, or ฿800–1,000 at beef-focused rooms like Doorae, Jang Won and Kaborae. Stews and rice dishes are ฿150–300 each, jjajangmyeon ฿100–220, Korean fried chicken ฿150–300 per set, bingsu ฿100–250. Banchan refills are usually free.
Do staff speak Korean or English?
Most venues are Korean-owned, so staff speak Korean and Thai, with enough English to take orders. Most menus have photos and three languages (Thai, English, Korean). Tourist-friendly rooms with clear English menus include Myeong Dong, Hanjan and Doorae. Rooms with a mostly Korean crowd include Jang Won, Myeong Ga and LEEGA.
What should I eat on a first visit?
In a group, start with BBQ: samgyeopsal (pork belly) or galbi at an à-la-carte room, or a buffet if you are watching the budget. Alone or as a pair, try sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) or kimchi jjigae with rice. Hard to find elsewhere in Bangkok: grilled gopchang (intestines) at Hangang or Hanjan, original jjajangmyeon at Jaguemsong, nakji bokkeum (spicy octopus) at Jobang Nakji.
